Somehow I deleted the June 25th update . Below is all that I can remember of what was in it .There are two race reports , an Anglican Block summary and some other stuff.

June 10 Update

Confirmation has been received that a CHCH Avon member has been recognized in the Queen's Birthday Honours ....

A cool drafty sort of day for the Club Champs held at Lake Rotokohatu at 2.30 pm on Saturday 26 th

May 19 - 2012 update

No races to report from last weekend , but a few notices of possible interest (3 new ones). Also a short account of the cold day at the Jane Patterson races. Check out the story Robyn has sent about her recent marathons in Europe (with one humorous photo )

April 28 Update

Just got back from Woodend where the Lionel Fox relays were held this afternoon. Christchurch is a miserable place to be in bad weather but today you wouldn't have wanted to be anywhere else

April 22 / 2012 Update.

Hagley Memorial Relay Sat 21 April.
The first Cross Country event of the season went off really well .
The weather was perfect - autumn is becoming the best season of the year in Canterbury - blue skies ,

April 14 Update .

There is a series of fun runs 3, 7 and 11km from the Waikari Domain staring at 1:30pm on ANZAC Day.

April 8 update

Five from CHCH Avon went down to Ashburton for the Easter Hop races on Sat April 7 .

April 1 update

A lovely day for CHCH Avon's Opening Run and Registration . A good turnout of juniors was lured by the promise of an egg hunt . Only about a dozen seniors though. No doubt people are busy doing work around the house or travelling to Secondary School Champs . Alot of people will opt to register online .One or two might have been doing le Race as well.

March 26 update.

   time again. Opening day / Registration is March 31st at the Club rooms Burnside High from 1.30 pm
