International Track Meet -Feb 2nd


On Sat Feb 2nd, the International Track Meet will be held for the second time at the Christ's College
Track. The organizing committee is appealing to the Track and field enthusiasts of Canterbury for help with the set up and running of this event which does a lot to raise the profile of our sport in Canterbury.
Help is required to set up the venue on Friday and Saturday, to fill race packs and to assist the athletes and monitor the crowd on Saturday afternoon as well as help with gate sales.
All volunteers will be given free entry to the Meet and lunch on Saturday.
We are also looking for people who have a spare bed who would be willing to billet an athlete from out of town.
